Rules for accommodation, rentals, and services
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&C") govern the contractual relationships between the operator of Penzión U Kastelána (Palešovo námestie 47, 053 04 Spišské Podhradie) and guests or users of our additional services (e.g. e-bike and vehicle rentals).
Reservations are made through non-binding inquiry forms on our website, by phone, or by email. The booking becomes binding only after written or telephone confirmation by the operator and payment of any deposit, if requested.
All prices listed on the website are indicative. The exact and final price for accommodation and additional services will be confirmed to you within a non-binding price calculation when approving your reservation. Payment can be made in cash, by card, or by bank transfer as agreed.
Cancellation of a binding reservation can be done in writing (email) or by phone. Cancellation fees are governed by individual agreement or the current cancellation policy sent upon confirmation of the booking. In case of unforeseen circumstances, we always try to find a mutual solution or reschedule.
The guest has the right to use the allocated rooms and common spaces of the guesthouse. The guest is obliged to follow the accommodation rules, respect quiet hours (from 22:00 to 06:00), and maintain cleanliness. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guesthouse, except in designated outdoor areas.
When renting sports equipment, e-bikes, or booking experience rides, the renter is fully responsible for the rented item. The renter is obliged to use the item in accordance with its purpose, protect it from damage or theft, and return it in the agreed condition and time. In case of damage, the renter bears the cost of repair.
These T&C are valid from January 1, 2026. The operator reserves the right to modify them. Legal relations not regulated by these T&C are governed by the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic.
